Charities the
Bears Support![]()
Bears that Care for the World we Live in.....
Teddy Bears bring a sense of joy and comfort to many. They always seem to bring a smile and are precious to those that love them. My bears have decided that they want to be and do a little more, so they got together and decided that a portion of their value would be donated to a charity.
It would be the special little thing they do to celebrate when they get adopted.
They searched high and low to figure out where their little donations would do the most good. It was a hard search. There are so many fine charities around. They wanted to give to all of them! (I had to remind them that I am but one person, and one person can only make so many bears by hand so they would have to limit their choice!) So they went off searching, checking into a number of charities, finally deciding on one that would reflect their global nature (they have siblings that have been adopted around the world), and honor their namesakes. So as the bears hope they brighten up and provide comfort to the people that own them, they know that their little donations will give a little help to people that need it...

I
have always been concerned with how well charitable donations are used.
When it comes charities, I rely on Charity
Navigator to provide me with up-to-date information to make the right
choices. Their database of over 2500 charities evaluating financial health
as well as providing a comparative standing among peers is essential reading
when it comes to selecting charities to get involved with.
